Factory Cart Coffee Table

Available: Beautifully adapted factory/lumber cart into industrial-modern coffee table. Antique hand-hewed walnut barn beam used to give the cart a very unique aesthetic.

These factory carts were originally produced at the turn of the 20th century to transport lumber, supplies, and millwork at the Lineberry Foundry & Furniture Company in Wilkesboro, North Carolina. These sturdy carts have survived over a century of use and embody the spirit of the Industrial Revolution and the value of good craftsmanship. The design of these carts’ parts make them adaptable to alternative uses, allowing them to be upcycled as tables or reused as garden or storage carts. These genuinely crafted carts would compliment any interior from loft apartments to country homes, cabins, coffee shops, and bookstores. These modernized factory carts will add a piece of history to any space.

All cast iron parts are original, down to the nuts and bolts, and each piece carefully cleaned and protected from further rust. The structure was rebuilt by splicing a reclaimed walnut barn beam for the lengths and using white oak for the structural ends. The beam is juxtaposed with the industrial iron to highlight the reuse of old materials and the beauty of their craftsmanship. The table top is finished with quarter-inch clear, tempered glass to further showcase the carts' parts.

If you are interested in ordering a cart with a custom top, structure, color, or type of wood - we have more carts and are very interested in talking with you about a design that will fully compliment your space and taste.

Cart is approximately 2' wide x 4' long x 16-1/2" tall.
